Technical Features
The Bosch 4100 10-Inch Worksite Table Saw uses a powerful 15 Amp motor, with Constant Response Circuitry. That means it is able to deliver massive amounts of power when they are needed. So the blade will have a Soft Start and will ramp up both the power and the speed as you begin feeding in the pieces of wood. It has a 25-inch rip capacity and a total of 29 by 21 square inches of tabletop space, which is one of the biggest surfaces you will get on a contractor table saw. The other great thing about the Bosch 4100 10-Inch Worksite Table Saw is its Modular Smart Guard Systems composed of a blade guard, riving knife, and anti-kickback pawls. All of these elements can be snapped into place or taken out without the need for any tools. The only disadvantage that some may find with the Bosch 4100 is that it cannot be fitted with a DADO blade, but that is something that you should really expect from a contractor table saw.
Manufacture Quality
There are those who like Bosch products and those that prefer to go with other brands for various reasons, but the one thing that everybody agrees on s that Bosch stands for uncompromising quality and reliability. Every part of the 4100 is perfectly manufactured, the paint quality is beyond reproach, and the 10-inch blade that comes in the package is as good as any aftermarket product you may buy.
Price
The one thing that creates a lot of problems for most people looking to buy the 4100 is the fact that it is more expensive than the equivalent table saw from DeWalt or other manufacturers. The truth is that, if you are going to buy a table saw for the occasional project, you should probably go with something cheaper; but, if you are planning to use it every week, then, in a few years, you will be happy that you choose a machine as reliable as the Bosch 4100 10-Inch Worksite Table Saw.
